Clinical Research Networks
SCRI's Clinical Research Networks Team works with investigators to build networks around shared research interests.
About Clinical Research Networks
Clinical research networks have become a critical platform to gather clinical evidence that has not been possible in the past with single sites.
By connecting investigators across multiple sites, they enable access to larger and more diverse patient populations, strengthen the quality of research findings, and ensure that evidence reflects the realities of local and regional populations — which is particularly vital in the Asia-Pacific context where disease profiles and healthcare systems differ from those seen in other parts of the world.
Beyond the science itself, networks build lasting research capacity within the healthcare ecosystem. They create communities of practice where knowledge and expertise are shared, and facilitate collaborative partnerships between clinicians, academia, industry and the government.
About Our Clinical Research Networks (CRN) Team:
When investigators come to us with a shared research interest, the CRN team helps them establish and formalise their network by building the necessary infrastructure and governance.
We provide networks with administrative and operational capabilities, enabling clinicians across Singapore, the Asia-Pacific region, and beyond to collaborate effectively. Through this, we empower our networks to develop high-impact research and ultimately strengthen the clinical research and healthcare ecosystem.
To date, SCRI has helped establish and develop 12 clinical research networks, many of which we continue to actively support:
