Dr Novi Yanti Sari
Dr. Novi Yanti Sari is a heart failure cardiologist and cardio-oncology specialist based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She completed her cardiology training at the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, and pursued a clinical fellowship in advanced heart failure at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore.
Dr. Novi formerly led the Heart Failure and Cardio-Oncology Program in South Sumatra, Indonesia, before relocating to Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village, where she is focused on developing integrated services for advanced heart failure care and cardio-oncology. She has been actively involved in establishing structured outpatient heart failure clinics and improving transitional care systems.
Her research interests include cardio-oncology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and cardiac amyloidosis. She holds several international leadership roles, including serving as the Chapter Representative for the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS) Indonesia. She is also actively involved within the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), serving on the Heart Failure Association (HFA) Young Committee, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, the Communication Committee of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), and the Biomarker Study Group of the ESC Council on Cardio-Oncology.
In addition, she is part of the social media editorial team for JACC: Heart Failure and JACC: CardioOncology, and contributes actively to the ESC HFA’s global educational initiatives, including podcast hosting and social media campaigns.
Dr. Novi’s work reflects a strong commitment to advancing patient-centered care, academic excellence, and international collaboration in heart failure and cardio-oncology.
