Dr Mann Chandavimol specializes in Interventional Cardiology with special interest in Coronary and Structural Heart Intervention. Today, he is also the Director of Center of Excellence Heart and Director of Heart Institute in Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospita
Dr Chandavimol graduated from Chulalongkorn University Medical School in Thailand. He went on to do his fellowship in The University of British Columbia where he was certified by The Royal college of Surgeons and Physicians of Canada and by the American Board of Internal Medicine for Internal Medicine and subsequently, in Cardiology. He then moved to Saint Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver to complete his fellowship in Intervention Cardiology and subsequently, Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation. Later, Dr Chandavimol returned to serve Thailand as an Interventional Cardiologist at Ramathibodi Hospital – Department of Medicine Mahidol University and Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital.
Dr Chandavimil also leads the TAVR program at Ramathibodi Hospital. In additional to coronary intervention, he also has special interest in TPVR, valve in valve/ring procedures, Left atrial appendage occlusion, and other transcatheter ACHD intervention. He has served as Scientific Chair and Course Director/ Co-Director of many different conferences and workshops through the years, including CSI Asia Pacific, the International Adult Congenital Cardiology, Mahidol TAVI and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valve Implantation Workshops. He has also served as a President the Cardiovascular Interventional Association of Thailand (CIAT) since 2024 and a secretary of the Thai PCI registry.
Dr Chandavimol has published over 45 papers in various journals including Circulation AHA/ASA journals. He has also presented at various local, regional and international conferences including American College of Cardiology Congress (ACC), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Transcatheter Cardiac Intervention (TCT), PCR London valve and PCR Tokyo valve.
