The Research Informatics team provides information technology solutions and support for clinical research conducted by SCRI. Working closely with investigators, project managers, data managers, statisticians, research coordinators, and other stakeholders, the team supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of research systems throughout the study lifecycle.
As one of the earliest institutes in Singapore to adopt and implement an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system for research studies, SCRI has contributed to improving the efficiency of data collection and the management of clinical research databases. The team continues to support the adoption, enhancement, and maintenance of research technologies in accordance with institutional policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
What We Do
Supply of information technology to SCRI clinical research operations to increase productivity
Provision of technical and user support to clinical research operations including trouble-shooting, analysis and recovery of systems and applications
Design and development of new tools, applications and technology to enhance project information collection, data management efficiency
Sourcing and adoption of new technology and ideas in accordance with industry best practices for smooth implementation of study methodologies
