Profile

Dr Loh Huai Heng is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti of Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). She completed her medical degree at the University of Malaya, obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), and specialized in Endocrinology and Metabolism before being awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh.

She is a recipient of several research grants, including the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) and UNIMAS Impact Grant, leading studies on vitamin D's role in obstructive sleep apnea and endocrine hypertension. Her research has been published in over 40 peer-reviewed journals, advancing the scientific understanding of hormonal mechanisms in sleep disorders and cardiovascular health.

Dr Loh’s expertise in endocrinology has established her as a distinguished speaker at over 30 professional conferences and public health forums, spanning both international congresses and regional symposia.
