Dr. Lin is the co-founder of TAIPAI (Taiwan Primary Aldosteronism Investigation) research group, and leads the cardiovascular research team in the group. He is currently the President of Taiwan Society of Hypertension. His research interests focus on 1) Clinical and translational research of aldosterone-induced cardiac and vascular fibrosis/ dysfunction; 2) Clinical research of cardiac amyloidosis; 3) Pulmonary Hypertension, mainly focus on CTEPH; 4) Non-linear analysis of heart rhythm in various medical conditions; 5) Biomarkers in various cardiovascular disease, including heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, and coronary artery disease; 6) Telemedicine.
Dr. Lin received several awards, including the Young Investigator Award of the Taiwan Society of Cardiology (2013), and Noon-Ting Memorial Award (Distinguish Research Award) of Taiwan Society of Cardiology (2017). He is currently the associate editor of Journal of American Heart Association (JAHA) and Acta Cardiologica Sinica and the editor of Medicine and Journal of Medical Ultrasound. He has published more than 300 journal and conference papers.
