The Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) will be launching our 7th Competitive Research Programme (CRP), which is a scenario-based call on Meeting Future Food Demands for Singapore. A scenario write-up is attached in this email and we welcome research proposals that will address key scientific and technological challenges presented. This is a prestigious national award that provides large funding quantum of up to $10 million per project, over three to five years.
The grant call will open for applicants to submit white papers on 25 October 2010 (Monday). The NRF’s CRP grant call is open to to all areas of science and technology related to the theme identified. Multi-disciplinary research is strongly encouraged as is partnership between industry and academia. The closing date for White Paper submission is 9 December 2010.
