CLINICAL RESEARCH NETWORKS

SCRI’s development of Clinical Research Networks (CRNs) in the Asia-Pacific region, provide the necessary frameworks to link Investigators with research interests in the same disease areas, and develop the appropriate support infrastructure to allow the efficient and effective conduct of clinical research in Singapore and the region.

SCRI’s efforts in realizing these networks include:

  • strengthening capabilities,
  • providing opportunities to become engaged in critically important and clinically relevant research,
  • facilitating and enhancing collaborations between academia, industry and the government,
  • providing a platform to facilitate the career development of clinical investigators, scientists and other personnel involved in clinical research.

SCRI provides both manpower support and operational platforms to facilitate scientific exchange and relationship building opportunities including:

  • organization of regular meetings,
  • coordination of finance, network management, marketing and business functions,
  • facilitation of the necessary training for research personnel.

SCRI endeavors to provide network participants the opportunity to:

  • develop high-impact research questions,
  • acquire national-level research funding,
  • be part of high-quality research.
