Options for Masters programs in Biostatistics for Singapore-based candidates.

Department of Statistics and Applied Probability, National University of Singapore

This department offers a Masters by coursework program that can be taken either full-time or part-time (local applicants only). The emphasis is in Statistics rather than Biostatistics, but includes some modules that cover biostatistical topics. More Info >

London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London

This is a distance-learning program that is taught using interactive CD-ROM materials, supported by practical workbooks and textbooks. Students are actively encouraged to participate in Web-based discussion boards and may pursue a Master of Science in either Clinical Trials or Epidemiology, both of which include a fair amount of practical biostatistics content.

Ministry of Health Holdings Healthcare Graduate Studies Award

This is not a program per se but rather a scholarship scheme that funds suitably qualified candidates to do local or overseas Masters programs in various specialized areas, one of which is biostatistics. More info >
