Dr Dianne Bautista is one of our senior biostatisticians. She has over 20 years of experience in the teaching and practice of Statistics, in various areas of clinical and health services research. Following her PhD in Statistics, she took up a position in SCRI before joining the Duke-NUS Medical School where she is currently an Assistant Professor at the Center for Quantitative Medicine. Dr Bautista has an interest in evidence-based healthcare: medicine, practice and implementation. With colleagues at SCRI, she facilitates in workshops on as well as participates in the conduct of Cochrane systematic reviews.

  • Clinical trial methodology and evidence synthesis
  • Qualification and validation of clinical outcome assessment tools (patient-reported outcomes, clinician-rated outcomes, observer-rated outcomes, proxy measures, diagnostic tools)
  • Latent-variable methodology
