Singapore Branch of the Australasian Cochrane Centre (SBACC)

Bringing into practice the best available evidence on healthcare

The Singapore Branch of the Australasian Cochrane Centre was established on 28 July 2005 to support the Cochrane Collaboration activities in the South-East Asian region. Since its foundation the Singapore Cochrane Branch has been directed by Dr Edwin Chan Shih-Yen.

The Singapore Branch will host the 17th Cochrane Colloquium, 11-14 October 2009, the annual meeting of the Cochrane Collaboration and trail-blazing international conference on evidence-based healthcare, which will be held in Asia for the first time this year.
